PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Human resources specialist recruit, screen, interview, and place workers. She/he often handle other human resources work, such as those related to employee relations, compensation and benefits.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruitment

• Posting Advert on internet websites
• Cooperation with personnel agencies
• Preselection of candidates
• First contact with candidate
• Interviews
• Job offer / Contract of Employment
• Start of employment (working contracts)

Evaluation interviews

• Newcomers
• End of probation period/annual contracts
• Exit interviews

Employee benefits

• Medical Aid application process
• RA benefit application process

Payroll administration support

• Ensuring that all relevant information is send to payroll for processing in time
• Close cooperation with Accounting Department

Education / knowledge and experience:

• High School Education
• At least 5 years’ experience in a Senior HR role
• Very good knowledge of SA Labour Law, processes and procedures

• Skills related to interpersonal communication: listening, speaking and writing
