Job Description
 
 
This concern the financial services industry is on the lookout for a number crunching tech savvy individual to join their finance department as a Senior tax Specialist. The suitable candidate will need to have a keen interest in working within the Supply Chain  environment as well.

This role is suitable for a tenacious professional that has very strong analytical and logical problem - solving skills, investigative in nature and Tax savvy.
 
The key responsibilities for this role will include:

• Accountable for the improvement of quality, service and work outputs, continuously recommending improvements.
• Identify, diagnose and recommend improvements and provide specialist advice and support; ensuring that solutions are appropriate and effective
• Provide specialist expertise and advice to internal/external customers, that builds strong relationships and creates a favourable impression aligned to Treating the Customer Fairly (TCF) principles
• Adhere to financial controls, governance and compliance policies and processes throughout an area of specialisation, contributing to cost efficiency
• Comply to risk and governance policies, implement and provide subject matter input to the development of related processes, applicable to the area of specialisation

 
The requirements:
 
 
Qualification:
 

• Registered CA(SA) / ACCA / CIMA
• Completed Honours degree

 
 
Experience:
 

• 8+ years’ working in a project environment of which 3-5 years working as a specialist

 
 
Skills Required:
 

• Relationship Management and Networking
• Communicating with Impact
• Problem Solving and Analysis
