Responsibilities:

Market Research & Client Opportunities: Conduct in-depth research of the South African equity market to uncover opportunities and provide insightful deliverables to clients, enhancing market coverage and deal origination.
Transaction Support: Collaborate on structuring, arranging, and executing corporate finance deals efficiently, ensuring timely delivery within set risk parameters.
Risk & Fee Assessment: Evaluate potential risks and fee opportunities for engagements, presenting your findings to the Engagement Committee.
Project Management: Take charge of managing assigned projects, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to timelines.
Industry Insights: Stay informed on market trends within key sectors to identify new opportunities and maintain relevance.
Financial Targets: Support leadership in securing mandates that drive the achievement of financial goals and elevate client service delivery.
Client Engagement: Build and nurture relationships by understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions through high-quality advisory services.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to deliver seamless execution of transactions, including financial modeling, market analysis, and legal agreement reviews.
Presentation & Pitching: Assist in developing and delivering impactful client pitches, as well as structuring and implementing transactions.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities align with company policies and regulatory requirements for successful mandate execution.

Requirements:

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with at least 2 years of post-articles experience.
Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
