Exciting Opportunity: Finance Manager

Location: Head Office, Cape Town
Contract: year-to-year contract

This non-profit organisation that has been around for over a decade is looking for a Financial Manager to join their team.

Purpose of the Role
The Finance Manager will oversee financial management, audit compliance, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

CA (SA) with at least 3 years’ experience in finance, accounting, and management.
2+ years post-articles experience.
Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial modeling.
Advantage: PEPFAR audit experience.
Clear credit and criminal record.
Excellent English communication skills.
Valid driver’s license (Code 08).

Key Responsibilities

Oversee project bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and compliance.
Ensure funder and statutory deadlines are met.
Manage project audits (internal/external) and VAT accounting.
Handle cash flow and inter-account transfers.
Deliver insightful financial reporting to stakeholders.
Lead and manage the finance team effectively.
