Our client, a prominent and highly regarded player within the manufacturing, mining, and industrial sectors, is seeking a Finance Reporting Manager to join their established finance team. The company has a significant presence in the services industry, with a diverse portfolio that spans various key sectors. You will play a critical role in overseeing the financial reporting function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and the delivery of high-quality financial statements. Your expertise in financial accounting, treasury, audits, and managing year-end processes will be essential in supporting the financial operations of a large organisation!
 
Duties:

• Oversee the preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure the reports are accurate, timely, and comply with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Manage and coordinate the year-end closing processes, including the preparation of annual financial statements and facilitating external audits.
• Supervise financial accounting and treasury operations, ensuring proper controls and processes are in place for cash flow management, banking, and liquidity planning.
• Provide clear direction, set performance goals, and drive efficiency in reporting and accounting functions.

 
Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Qualifications:
  • Chartered Accountant CA(SA)
• Experience:
  • At least 8 years of post-articles experience and extensive knowledge of consolidations. 
  • You must have worked with a book of at least R 1 billion in revenue or assets.
  • Proven leadership skills with prior management experience, including managing teams, overseeing performance, and ensuring the development of junior staff.
