ENVIRONMENT:

A fast-paced Specialist in End-to-end IT Management and Consultative IT Services seeks an ambitious Intern Technical Test Analyst to join its dynamic team. Your role will include creating Test Strategies, performing Software Testing while reporting software defects and maintaining testing simulation environments. The ideal candidate must have Matric/Grade 12 and Software Development or QA experience. It would also be preferably to be ISTQB Certified with proficiency in Linux, Jira or similar and Automation and/or Manual Testing.

DUTIES:

• Complete and pass all assigned tasks and tests as per the Internship Programme
• Successfully integrate yourself with the team.
• Complete all practical tasks and assignments while on-site or in the practical phase.
• Own and drive the Technical Testing function to meet testing requirements for all products.
• Interact with users to gain understanding of requirements.
• Create Test Strategies, Test plans and test cases to ensure the release of high-quality software.
• Perform software testing (Backend Testing and Data Validations) to complement existing UI Testing.
• Automation of system test cases.
• Performance Testing.
• Reporting of software defects.
• Setup and maintenance of testing simulation environments.

REQUIREMENTS:

Essential –

• Grade 12 (NSC) / Matric.
• Development or QA experience.
• Software Development.

Preferable to have –

• ISTQB Testing qualification.
• Linux skills.
• Software Testing tool Jira or similar.
• Automation and/or Manual Testing.
