Duties for the Hospitality Manager will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage orchards, gardens, vegetables, animals, game, maintenance, and overall business aspects of the farm.
- Oversee day-to-day activities to ensure productivity, sustainability, and preparedness for guest arrivals.
- Develop and implement farming practices aligned with permaculture and organic principles.
- Stay open-minded to innovation, testing, and evolving farming techniques
- Hands-on management of fertilisation, pest control, irrigation, livestock, and game.
- Mechanical proficiency in tractors, spray systems, and general equipment.
- Manage small improvement projects on the farm
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring effective delegation, support, and performance management
- Maintain accurate records and prepare comprehensive reports on farming operations
