The Social Media Coordinator will be instrumental in managing and enhancing the client’s digital presence across various platforms. This role involves developing engaging content, fostering community interaction, and executing campaigns that increase brand visibility, audience engagement, and lead generation. The ideal candidate should be creative, well-versed in social media trends, and adept at using platforms to achieve business goals.This position calls for a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to analyse performance data to optimize campaign outcomes. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure all content aligns with the client’s overarching brand and marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy & Execution:
Develop and execute social media strategies to boost brand visibility and engagement across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and others
Plan, schedule, and manage daily content to maintain consistent brand messaging across all social media channels
Implement paid social media campaigns, optimizing them to achieve objectives such as lead generation, website traffic, and brand awareness
Content Creation & Curation:
Produce engaging and shareable content, including graphics, videos, and written copy for social media posts
Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to create high-quality content aligned with the client’s voice and objectives
Curate and share relevant industry-related content to keep the online community informed and engaged
Community Engagement & Management:
Monitor, moderate, and actively engage with social media communities by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and professionally
Cultivate relationships with followers, influencers, and key players in the industry to enhance brand interaction
Social Media Analytics & Reporting:
Track, analyse, and report on social media performance using tools like Google Analytics, platform-specific insights, and other analytics tools
Provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to improve and adjust campaigns
Manage a social media content calendar to organize posting schedules, campaign timelines, and key milestones
Collaborative Campaign Planning:
Partner with the Digital Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with broader marketing objectives
Collaborate with external partners, including vendors or influencers, to support campaigns, product launches, or special events
Trend Analysis & Innovation:
Keep informed about emerging trends in social media, content marketing, and digital communication strategies
Regularly experiment with new platforms, tools, and creative approaches to enhance social media performance and audience engagement
Requirements:
Minimum 2-4 years of experience managing social media accounts
Proven track record of executing successful social media campaigns with measurable outcomes (engagement, leads, conversions)
Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) and their respective best practices
Proficient in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.)
Strong understanding of content creation tools (e.g., Canva etc.) and ability to create visually appealing posts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and consistency in brand voice
Knowledge of SEO and how social media impacts search rankings
Ability to analyse data and provide insights to improve social media performance
Creative and forward-thinking, with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends
Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and campaigns at once
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating with a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
