My client has three franchise retail stores that provide essential services to customers. Due to their continued growth, they are seeking a highly skilled and customer-centric Retail Manager to oversee and manage these franchise stores. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business management and customer service and the ability to drive business growth. The stores are not huge retail outlets and are manageable for one person to manage. 

Responsibilities:

  Manage and oversee the daily operations of three franchise stores.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure stores are opened on time, clean, and fully operational.

  
  


• 
  

  Uphold a vibrant, effective, and efficient retail environment, focusing on excellent customer service.

  
  


• 
  

  Manage end-of-day operations, including cash-ups and store security.

  
  


• 
  

  Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring a pleasant retail experience.

  
  


• 
  

  Assign tasks to staff, foster teamwork, and manage individual performance.

  
  


• 
  

  Oversee merchandising, ensuring goods are available, properly displayed, and priced.

  
  


• 
  

  Develop and execute marketing and promotional plans to drive sales and promote new product lines.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure IT equipment is well-maintained and up to date with necessary licenses.

  
  


• 
  

  Manage special accounts, ensuring timely billing and accurate internal reporting.

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct monthly reporting, including revenue projections and staff incentives.

  
  

Qualifications:

• Grade 12


• Tertiary qualification would be beneficial but not essential


• 
  

  Valid driver's license and own vehicle.

  
  


• 
  

  Clear criminal record.

  
  


• Excellent English business literacy.
