ENVIRONMENT:

HELP growth the software platform of a fast-growing FinTech company with a footprint on the African continent seeking the coding talents of a Mid-Senior Full Stack Java Developer. You’ll be involved in every step of the Development process from requirements gathering to final product delivery, giving you plenty of opportunity to show off your coding skills while also making a real difference to the company and its clients. This dynamic team is looking for someone with 6+ years of relevant work experience who is an independent go getter with an adventurous attitude and a good sense of humour!

Company Tech Stack -

• Core technologies include Groovy and Java for programming, with Micronaut and Spring Boot as primary application frameworks.
• Use Gorm and Hibernate for persistence and rely on MySQL as the main database. For web-based user interfaces, they utilize Vaadin.
• In addition, the technology stack features Activiti for workflow management, Micronaut and JAX-RS for microservices, and Electron for cross-platform development.
• They ensure secure operations with Apache Shiro and manage queue processing through Apache ActiveMQ Artemis.
• Other tools in the stack include MongoDB for document storage, Jasper Reports for reporting, and Apache Velocity as our template engine. Also use SWAGGER for API documentation.
• The Development environment follows Agile Kanban methodology with continuous delivery, using Jenkins for builds, IntelliJ as IDE, Bitbucket GIT for source control, and Gradle for build configuration.
• They stay connected through Slack and Google and manage the Development cycle with Jira.
