Our client, a leading investment platform specializing in the energy sector across Africa, is seeking a Financial Manager to join their dynamic finance team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all finance functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
Analyze and advise on financial conditions across various operational geographies, ensuring optimal financial management strategies.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth across the organization.
Oversee project accounting and audits, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.
Ensure compliance with global accounting standards and tax requirements.
Maintain quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including project directors, the commercial director, and the CEO, to ensure the financial health of the business and its projects.
Provide strategic advice on cost and revenue management, including ownership of project budgets.
Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for all group entities and projects.
Manage accounts receivable and payable teams, conducting financial analysis to guide business decisions.
Coordinate and direct the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.
Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
Work closely with the CEO to manage cash flow and financial risks.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualification: BCom in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Completed SAICA articles preferred.
Additional qualifications such as ACMA, CGMA, or equivalent are advantageous.
Experience: 3–5 years in a Financial Manager / Financial Controller role.
Prior experience in the events/services industry is highly desirable.
Experience managing group financial structures is essential.
Minimal travel required (approximately once every 3 months for 2–7 days).
