An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Financial Manager to join a dynamic company operating at the intersection of the energy and events sectors. Based in Cape Town, this role is pivotal in driving financial excellence, strategic decision-making, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the company’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Prepare and present accurate financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Manage and maintain financial controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth and sustainability.
Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing actionable insights to improve profitability.
Manage tax compliance, audits, and other statutory obligations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial planning with business goals.
Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure high performance and development.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (CA(SA) or CIMA qualification advantageous).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a financial management role, preferably in the energy, events, or related sectors or in financial controller role.
Proficient in financial management systems and tools (e.g., Xero Accounting or similar).
Strong understanding of South African tax regulations and financial compliance.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven leadership and team management abilities.
