Our client in Cape Town is looking for a talented, experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their fast-growing construction company. Requirements:

·        Minimum 7 years of quantity surveying experience in building construction.

·        Strong site management skills.

·        Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.

·        Ability to evaluate building plans, technical schedules and tender documents.

·        Proficiency in MS Project & MS Excel.

·        Experience managing JBCC & NEC contracts advantageous.

·        NHBRC accreditation advantageous.

Duties & Requirements:

·        Coordinate and oversee site operations in compliance with project contractual terms.

·        Ensure all work is completed according to building quality standards and regulations.

·        Manage material requisitions, subcontractor appointments, claims and payments.

·        Control project costs to ensure financial success of the project.

·        Ensure site management adheres to OHS regulations.

·        Track and manage project schedules.
