Duties & Responsibilities

Candidate will be mainly responsible for:
-Creating 3D parametric models using Solidworks
-Generating General Arrangement (G.A) and Detail drawings for Manufacturing.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Produce manufacturing drawings.
-Communicate with the Design Engineers.
-Give feedback on drawing progress to the Technical Manager.
-Create 3D parametric models using Solidworks.
-To produce the most accurate, correct and neat drawings.
-Upholding the ISO 9001 Quality when producing drawings.
 
Minimum requirements:
-Minimum 5 years’ active working experience as a Design Draughtsman.
-Minimum 5 years’ active working experience in Mechanical Engineering.
-Minimum 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing and Fabrication (workshop experience)
-Diploma in Mechanical Draughting
-Technical competence using the following Software:

• Solidworks - 3D modelling
• Autodesk AutoCAD

-  High attention to detail
-  Experience in the Mining Industry will be an added advantage.
