A leading hospitality company is seeking a skilled and experienced Temporary Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven professional to bring their financial expertise to a fast-paced and exciting industry.

Key Responsibilities

As the Financial Controller, you will:

• Oversee the daily financial operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Manage the month-end closing process, including the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Analyze financial performance, highlighting trends and providing actionable insights to leadership.
• Supervise the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor cash flow, prepare forecasts, and assist in budgeting processes.
• Conduct variance analysis and ensure accurate cost control measures.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and other stakeholders as required.
• Support the implementation of financial process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bcom).
• Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, or similar) and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Skills:
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
