Our client in Kempton Park is seeking a skilled Financial Manager to join their dynamic finance team. This role involves working closely with senior executives to drive the company's financial objectives and ensure compliance with local and group financial standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage core accounting functions, including invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and local financial reporting.
Implement and ensure adherence to Group Financial Policies, IFRS, and local regulatory requirements.
Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements and reports to senior management.
Assist with the annual budgeting process and provide financial guidance.
Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering professional growth and improvement.
Oversee external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all audit processes.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
Collaborate with departments like EMEA Treasury, Real Estate, Accounting, and Tax to align financial strategies with business goals.
Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends to maintain compliance and effective practices.
Manage communication with Tax Authorities and External Advisors regarding finance matters.
Ensure compliance with SOX and financial regulations.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Oversee cash flow management and maintain strong internal controls.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (BCom preferred).
Extensive financial management experience, ideally in commercial or manufacturing sectors with exposure to senior management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and project management capabilities.
Proficiency in financial tools and software (e.g., HFM, SAP, Qlik, Board, and Microsoft applications).
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work with senior regional management.
