Our client in Middelburg is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Planner to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the supply chain operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods. This role requires a deep understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and transportation. The Logistics Planner will work closely with various departments, including procurement, production, and sales, to develop and implement logistics strategies that meet the company's objectives. Key responsibilities include planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services. The Logistics Planner will also be responsible for liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to ensure a smooth supply chain process. The ideal candidate will have a background in logistics or supply chain management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.
Coordinate and optimize the supply chain operations.
Develop and implement logistics strategies.
Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.
Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics.
Identify and resolve potential logistics issues.

Candidate Requirements

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field will be beneficial.
Proven experience as a Logistics Planner or similar role will be an advantage.
Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
