Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth quality inspections and audits across all manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with international standards for welding, coatings, and non-destructive testing (UT, PT, MT, RT).
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of inspection results, certifications, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to uphold product quality.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
Qualifications and Certifications
Essential Certifications:
- AWS CWI: Certified Welding Inspector, Cert No. 13112961
- AWS SCWI: Senior Certified Welding Inspector, Cert No. 24110028
- CSWIP 3.1: Welding Inspector, Cert No. 542682
- NACE CIP Level 3: Senior Coating Inspector, Cert No. 15379
- Liquid Penetrant Testing Level 2: Cert Nos. 23/0675/2 & 23/0682/1/PED (EN ISO 9712)
- Ultrasonic Testing Level 2: Cert Nos. 23/0676/2 & 23/0705/1/PED (EN ISO 9712)
- ASNT Level 2: UT, PT, MT, RT, Cert No. NDT-1002027
- PMP, PMI: Cert No. 2590634
- Senior Constructor for Electromechanical Engineering: Cert No. 20210903437000006322
- QMS ISO 9001 Auditor: Cert No. 2022-N1QMS-1263870
- Minimum 8 years of experience in quality inspection within a pressurized or heavy manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical standards, welding codes, and engineering drawings.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Must have a Matric or N3
- Must have a technical trade or ND in Engineering or similar
