Purpose of the role: The HR Business Partner will offer HR support to employees and management, focusing on performance management, recruitment, remuneration, skills development, and administration, aligned with legislation and company policies.

Criteria and Skills Required for the Role:

Tertiary qualification (Degree/Diploma) in HR or related field, with 8+ years of HR experience
Proficient in payroll processing, biometric systems, and shift patterns (PaySpace preferred)
Strong IT proficiency, particularly in MS Office and HR information systems
Solid understanding of job grading, benchmarking, and skills development (SETA submissions, grants)
Familiarity with BCEA, LRA, EEA; experience in unionised environments is advantageous
Excellent planning, organisational, and multi-tasking skills
Strong leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, and coaching abilities
High levels of integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and a focus on procedural compliance
Energetic, innovative, emotionally intelligent, and a proactive self-starter
Valid driver’s license and own transport required
Preference will be given to applicants residing near the Northern Suburbs of Pretoria (Hermanstad) due to traffic conditions

Key Responsibilities:

Foster positive employee relations, address grievances, and drive engagement initiatives
Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and employee integration processes
Coordinate performance reviews, address performance challenges, and identify training needs
Oversee HR administration, including payroll support (PaySpace, ESS), and maintain accurate records
Support Employment Equity initiatives, BBBEE targets, and manage compliance submissions
Facilitate training programs, oversee learnerships and grants, and monitor development initiatives
Drive employee engagement strategies, organise Wellness Days, and promote well-being programs
Ensure HR compliance with legislation, policies, and best practices
