Criteria and Skills Required for the Role:
- Tertiary qualification (Degree/Diploma) in HR or related field, with 8+ years of HR experience
- Proficient in payroll processing, biometric systems, and shift patterns (PaySpace preferred)
- Strong IT proficiency, particularly in MS Office and HR information systems
- Solid understanding of job grading, benchmarking, and skills development (SETA submissions, grants)
- Familiarity with BCEA, LRA, EEA; experience in unionised environments is advantageous
- Excellent planning, organisational, and multi-tasking skills
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, and coaching abilities
- High levels of integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and a focus on procedural compliance
- Energetic, innovative, emotionally intelligent, and a proactive self-starter
- Valid driver’s license and own transport required
- Preference will be given to applicants residing near the Northern Suburbs of Pretoria (Hermanstad) due to traffic conditions
- Foster positive employee relations, address grievances, and drive engagement initiatives
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and employee integration processes
- Coordinate performance reviews, address performance challenges, and identify training needs
- Oversee HR administration, including payroll support (PaySpace, ESS), and maintain accurate records
- Support Employment Equity initiatives, BBBEE targets, and manage compliance submissions
- Facilitate training programs, oversee learnerships and grants, and monitor development initiatives
- Drive employee engagement strategies, organise Wellness Days, and promote well-being programs
- Ensure HR compliance with legislation, policies, and best practices
