We seek a result-driven UI/UX Web Designer to join our marketing team. In this dynamic role, you’ll manage and enhance websites across our varied business units, crafting visually appealing, user-friendly, and functional interfaces that embody our vibrant brands.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain website appearance and enforce content standards.
- Manage and update chatbots.
- Design visual imagery aligned with branding.
- Perform image editing and digital retouching.
- Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Incorporate functionalities and responsive design for multiple devices.
- Design sample pages, interactive elements, and layouts for optimal usability.
- Update content/images, ensuring accuracy and brand alignment.
- Conduct usability testing and implement feedback.
- Analyze brand positioning, target markets, and competitor trends.
- Research and propose creative web opportunities.
- Stay updated on technological advancements and collaborate with the marketing team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic or Web Design (or equivalent).
Experience and Skills:
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in design tools, WordPress, and Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SEO principles.
- Expertise in UX/UI, responsive design, and interaction design.
- Familiarity with frameworks like ReactJS, VueJS, and Bootstrap.
- Understanding of development principles (MVC, OOP) and API integration.
- Competence with CLI tools (NPM, Git, Sass, Composer, Webpack).

We offer Barista produced coffee available all day to all our staff at Claremont.
Normal working hours are Mondays to Fridays from 08h00 until 17h00 with a 45 minute lunch break. The company allows employees, by approval of the direct manager, to work flexi-time between 07h00 and 18h00.
With centrally located and modern offices just across from Cavendish in Claremont.
Salary on offer is from R30,000.00 Cost To Company per month. The amount offered will be dependent on qualifications, experience and other market related factors.
