As the Group Reporting Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the group’s financial reporting processes. You will ensure compliance with relevant IFRS standards, produce accurate and timely consolidated financial statements, and provide insights that drive strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for financial reporting and a strong background in the financial services sector.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

3+ years of post-articles experience, preferably in a group reporting or similar role
In-depth knowledge and experience with IFRS 10, IFRS 7, and IFRS 17
Strong background in the financial services industry
Advanced proficiency in financial reporting tools and Excel

Qualifications:

Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage and prepare the group’s consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to tight deadlines
Ensure compliance with IFRS 10, IFRS 7, and IFRS 17, while staying informed on any changes to these standards
Perform financial analysis to provide meaningful insights into the group’s performance
Support the external audit process by preparing necessary documentation and addressing audit queries
