Are you a skilled and passionate Data Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and driven professional with 4-6 years of experience to join our growing team in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support data integration, processing, and analytics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement data solutions.
Work with large datasets, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and timely data delivery.
Optimize and troubleshoot data workflows and processes.
Manage and maintain databases, ensuring security and performance standards are met.

Requirements:

4-6 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong experience with SQL, Python, or similar programming languages.
Proficiency in working with ETL tools and data integration platforms.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data storage solutions.
Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and database management.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.).
Familiarity with machine learning workflows and data analytics.
