Key Responsibilities:
- Functional Controlling: Assist in budgeting, cost control, communication, charging mechanisms, tax compliance, and business partnering with the relevant functions.
- Reporting and Closing: Support monthly and quarterly reporting and closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Cost Analysis and Estimates: Prepare cost analysis, estimates, accruals, reclassification, and ad hoc analysis and reporting.
- System and Data Governance: Oversee the chart of accounts and business warehouse tools, ensuring data integrity and proper governance.
- Special Projects: Contribute to special projects aimed at improving financial processes and performance.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the continued development of budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with local and senior leadership, assisting the management accountant with daily processing tasks across various sites.
- Cross-functional Liaison: Act as a bridge between the admin/creditors clerk and management accountant for processes such as diesel logs, payroll timesheets, and payment reconciliations.
- Stock and Asset Counts: Participate in stock counts and asset counts as required.
- Travel: Occasional ad-hoc travel to sites in the Northern Cape.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Academic Qualification: Diploma (3 years) or NQF Level 6.
- Professional Qualifications: Preferably SAICA or AGSA.
- Experience: Up to 3 years in a similar role.

- Business Performance Management: Help evaluate overall business performance, identifying areas for improvement to enhance effectiveness and reach organizational goals.
