A Fire Draughtsman is responsible for designing and drafting comprehensive fire protection systems, including sprinklers, alarms, and other safety measures. You will create detailed technical drawings and plans to use AutoCAD, ensuring compliance with local fire codes and standards such as SANS. The role involves collaborating with engineers and architects to integrate fire protection systems into building designs, performing site inspections to verify design accuracy and installation compliance, and managing documentation to maintain accurate records of design changes and approvals.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• National Diploma or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, or a draughting field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Draughtsman.
• Proficient in SANS 10400-T and related SANS standards.
• AutoCAD proficiency is required.
