ENVIRONMENT:

PROVIDE end-user support, provisioning hardware & software, and troubleshooting end-user IT systems as the next Junior IT Technician wanted by a dynamic provider of cutting-edge products based in Somerset West. Applicants will require at least 2 years’ work experience in a similar role. Any of the following Certifications will prove beneficial – A+, N+, MCSA, MCSE, Azure Fundamentals Certified and Microsoft365 Fundamentals.

DUTIES:

Customers -

• First-line support for IT incidents. Including monitoring and updating the Helpdesk system.
• Work diligently with the team and end-users to keep users’ technology running.

Internal -

• Install and upgrade hardware for laptops and desktops, load operating systems, drivers, and software.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues, e.g., laptops, audio-visual, telephony, printers, etc.
• Maintain an up-to-date Asset Register of all IT equipment.
• Maintain physical network infrastructure.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2 Years of experience in a similar role.
• After hours work is expected.

Advantageous –

• A+, N+, MCSA, MCSE.
• Azure Fundamentals Certified and Microsoft365 Fundamentals Certified.
