We are a leading telecommunications giant, seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales and Leadership Coach to help drive the success of our sales team by developing the skills of both B2B sales agents and sales management. This role is designed for someone passionate about coaching, mentoring, and empowering others to reach their full potential in both sales performance and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Coaching plan:Develop and implement a comprehensive coaching plan that aligns with our sales strategy and focuses on both leadership and agent development to cultivate talent.
- Leadership Development: Develop and optimise the skills and behaviours of the current sales leadership team. Creation of personal development plans.Develop targeted coaching and training initiatives that address team trends and individual development areas, allowing team members to unlock their potential.
- Elevate Team Performance: Provide continuous coaching and mentorship to sales staff, closing performance gaps and driving success. Work with the sales management team to provide tailored training that empowers them to excel.
- Facilitate seamless onboarding: Lead the induction process with new agents ensuring they feel welcome, supported and ready to contribute.
- Innovate with Creative Coaching Methods: Use forward-thinking coaching techniques to improve team performance and leadership skills.
- Track Progress and Celebrate Success: Monitor training initiatives against KPIs, ensuring they align with sales and leadership objectives while celebrating achievements along the way.
- Provide Constructive Feedback: Review calls and offer actionable feedback on customer service skills, sales techniques, product knowledge, and communication to help team members grow.
- Analyse Campaign Performance: Collaborate with the sales management team to assess campaign results, integrating insights to refine coaching strategies and champion change.
- Respond to Ad-Hoc Needs: Be proactive in identifying coaching and development opportunities as they arise, balancing sales performance, leadership growth, and soft skills enhancement.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12 qualification is essential.
- Related qualification in training and development is advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years of sales and leadership training experience within the telecommunications industry, preferably in a call centre environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with B2B clients is a plus.

- Solid understanding of sales processes, techniques, and best practices in telecommunications.
- Ability to analyse performance data and KPIs to identify areas for enhancement.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales coaching tools.
