Our client is a leading consultancy specialising in innovative fire engineering solutions. They work on diverse projects across various industries, delivering tailored fire safety designs and strategies. With a strong focus on technical excellence, sustainability, and compliance, they offer a dynamic and collaborative environment for professionals passionate about advancing fire safety standards.

As a Fire Engineer, based in Cape Town, you will collaborate with the Fire & Life Safety division to deliver innovative fire engineering solutions for UK and international projects. Responsibilities include developing fire strategies, conducting fire engineering calculations, smoke modelling, evacuation analysis, and managing project phases. You’ll ensure design excellence, support tenders, attend meetings, and drive quality across prestigious residential, commercial, and hotel projects.

Job experience and Skills Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s Degree is advantageous).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire engineering within residential, commercial, or hotel projects.
Proven design and engineering expertise, including fire strategy development, smoke modelling, and evacuation analysis.
Strong technical knowledge of fire safety principles and interdisciplinary design through all project stages.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to manage project deliverables and tender documentation.
