Job Description:
Manage electronic systems, including fiber optics, IP networks, databases, and machine software
Troubleshoot PLC systems (programming not required) to ensure smooth machine operation
Handle wiring, installation, and fine-tuning of machines Experience with weighing systems is a significant advantage
Provide technical support, conduct customer training on system usage, and offer post-sales assistance
Take ownership of tasks, make quick decisions, and resolve on-site issues independently
Proactively maintain and optimize machine and system performance
Effectively communicate technical information to customers and colleagues, with fluency in Afrikaans being essential
 
Skills & Experience:
Proficiency in speaking and writing Afrikaans is essential
Strong IT expertise and experience with electronic technology
Capability to calibrate machines effectively
Familiarity with PLC systems such as Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, ABB, Honeywell, or other mainstream PLCs

Qualification:
Diploma or Degree in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering
Valid driver's license
Valid passport (required for international travel)
