Test engineer required at company that manufactures a variety of electronic and Power Electronic equipment for the Military, aerospace and railway industry.

TEST ENGINEER

Johannesburg- Randburg

A fast-growing company with several Product ranges. Well-established database of International and National Clients with repeated business.

The main responsibilities will be to develop/Design new test equipment for the new products being released for production.
Maintain and automate existing test equipment.

Prepare new products for Qualification Testing (Safety, EMC, and other standards)

Qualification:

BTech in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or BEng in Electronic Engineering
Must have solid testing and report-writing skills

Responsibilities:

Develop and design Test equipment
Logging of test data
Thermal and Random Vibration Testing
Assembling of test equipment used for manufacturing, qualification, and acceptance testing
Will work according to several standards

Personality Traits:

Detail oriented
Good communication skills
Hands-on and willing to take initiative
Must have the ability to run complex test sequences and write structured reports
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
