Our client is seeking a municipal engineer to join their team in pursuit of excellence. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving the success of their projects and reinforcing their reputation as an industry leader in Water and Wastewater Treatment, Pumpstations, Sizing Pumps and Pipeline Designs.

Project leader/task leader for consulting engineering in water and sanitation projects
Planning, design, tender, and construction monitoring
General responsibilities related to marketing, proposals, and staff management
Collaborate with Senior Site Staff to:
Manage project administration
Resolve technical issues on large, multidisciplinary, multi-contract bulk water projects
Prepare and Review Technical Contract Documents
Prepare and Review Technical Design & documentation of projects involving the conveyance and treatment of both Water and Wastewater and associated technologies (e.g. water distribution, pump stations, pipelines and treatment plants)
Programme work and set productivity targets in discussion with the Project Manager
Obtain and confirm acceptance of appointments in writing
Prepare time/cost estimates for clients on projects
Plan and monitor progress of projects
Manage and Perform design work as required
Prepare project reports, specifications, minutes, correspondence

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 7-10 years’ relevant experience
Bulk Water and Sanitation Infrastructure Design experience is a pre-requisite
Experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects
Experience with GCC2015, SABS1200 & COLTO
Preparation of reports and presentations
Competent with Civil Designer, Civil3D and AutoCAD
 
Qualification:
BEng/BSc or BTech in Civil Engineering
Registered as a Professional with ECSA
