Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Expertise and Delivery Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications, ensuring high performance andscalability. Manage and optimise databases, including MS SQL, DB2, and others, ensuring dataintegrity, security, and efficient querying. Work across multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and applications tosupport diverse IT environments. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to databases, applications, andsystem integrations. Collaborate with technical teams to implement and adopt new technologies andsystems.Team Leadership and Support Lead and mentor a team of consultants to deliver high-quality IT services. Oversee service desk operations, ensuring efficient resolution of tickets and escalations. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.Stakeholder Engagement and Communication Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders regarding servicedelivery and performance. Regularly report on service metrics, risks, and improvement initiatives to seniormanagement. Collaborate with business units to align technical service delivery with organisationalobjectives.
Process Optimisation and Continuous Improvement Evaluate and enhance existing service delivery and development processes for greaterefficiency and quality. Develop and maintain documentation for standard operating procedures, serviceguidelines, and application workflows. Implement ITIL best practices to streamline operations and improve service reliability. Drive disaster
Experience 10+ years in IT roles, with significant experience in full-stack development, databasemanagement, and IT operations. Proven track record of managing service delivery teams and achieving high levels ofcustomer satisfaction. Hands-on experience with databases such as MS SQL, DB2, and other relational/non-relational systems. Experience working with and across multiple operating systems and enterprise-levelapplications.
