A prominent Heavy Engineering Manufacturing Concern located approximately 50 km north of Cape Town, is actively seeking a skilled Senior HR Managerto join their dynamic team.
The Company hosts one of Africa's largest Foundry Operations. The Company requires the skills of a Senior Manager: Human Resources to strategically lead, drive and manage all HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR position
- In depth knowledge of labour laws, HR practices and compliance regulation
- Experience in a strong unionized environment
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Relevant Degree / B-Tech in HR
- Post graduate qualification would be advantageous
Duties and Responsibilities:
HR Operations
- Oversee HR operational processes, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
- Manage all HR personnel
Employee Engagement
- Design and execute initiatives to improve employee engagement and satisfaction
Talent Management
- Oversee talent acquisition and retention strategies
- Develop and implement individual growth plans for employees, aligned with business goals
Skills Development
- Establish a robust skills development framework to enhance employee skills
- Promote a culture of life-long learning
Performance Management
- Enhance performance management systems to ensure alignment with strategic goals
- Provide guidance and support to managers on performance-related matters
Industrial Relations
- Manage and ensure effective Industrial Relations
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labour legislation
- Represent the business at all dispute resolution processes at CCMA and/or Bargaining Council
BBBEE & Employment Equity
- Manage the BBBEE & EE strategy and ensure compliance
