A Transport company within the Agricultural sector in Centurion has a vacancy for a Logistics Co-ordinator.

The successful Candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

Schedule trucks according to Customer needs.

Determine best routes and rates.

Booking and following orders with Clients - mining Clients for extra cargo.

Assist and maintain orders from Transporters.

Track status of loads.

Accurate record keeping.

Update Customers on the status of the delivery.

Strong administration skills.

Responsible for quotations.

Collect and inspect PODs.

Source new business opportunities.

3 Month Contract with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.

Candidate Requirements

Matric.

A tertiary qualification would be an advantage.

Must be available after hours and during weekends.

Previous experience within a Transport/Logistics environment.

Strong MS Office skills.

Excellent problem solving abilities.

Strong communication skills.

Afrikaans speaking.

Own car essential.
