Key Requirements:

  Education: A B.Eng or BSc.Eng in Electrical Engineering is essential. You must be eligible to register with the Engineering Council of South Africa, or be already registered

  Experience: Minimum of 3 years of project engineering experience, with previous experience in solar PV projects.

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge: Good understanding of relevant codes, policies, best practices, and standards.

  
  

Responsibilities:

  Support the Engineering Manager with renewable energy system designs.

  Create budgets for proposed new projects.

  Assist in developing design tools for the engineering department.

  Provide support with engineering-related operations and maintenance issues.

  Create precise drawings for information and construction purposes.

  Conduct site inspections to design and cost new projects accurately.

  Measure and create bills of quantities for installations.

  Simulate system performances and productions accurately.

  Develop as-built drawings.
