Hire Resolve's client, a leading retail company in Cape Town, is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Footwear and Accessories Buyer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about fashion, trends, and delivering exceptional products to customers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute buying strategies that align with company objectives and market trends.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Analyse sales data, market trends, and customer preferences to inform purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with design, merchandising, and planning teams to curate collections that resonate with target customers.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
• Drive innovation and trend forecasting within the footwear and accessories category.
• Ensure all purchases align with quality standards and brand expectations.

Requirements:

• A tertiary qualification in Fashion, Retail Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Buyer in the retail industry, specifically within footwear and accessories.
• Proven ability to analyse market trends and consumer behaviour.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier management.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant retail software and systems.
