We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to join our Cape Town team and oversee the efficient and accurate management of our payroll function.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end payroll process for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Oversee payroll system administration and ensure seamless integration with HR and accounting systems.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including tax, UIF, and employee benefits.
Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare detailed reports for management.
Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Manage the relationship with third-party service providers (e.g., pension funds, medical aid providers).
Implement and maintain internal payroll policies and procedures.
Lead and mentor the payroll team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (relevant certifications advantageous).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in payroll management, preferably in a medium to large organization.
Strong knowledge of South African payroll regulations and tax laws.
Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Sage VIP, PaySpace, or similar) and MS Excel.
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on confidentiality.
