About the Position

As the ERP System Support Lead, you will oversee all system analysts and lead the planning, deployment, and functional support of ERP systems across the organization. You will combine leadership with hands-on involvement, ensuring that the ERP systems align with business goals while providing consistent and effective support. You will interact closely with the Technical ERP lead ensuring that the ERP solution is functioning optimally.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide a team of ERP functional support specialists, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and timely.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams, business users, and management to ensure effective communication and alignment of goals.
• Assist in the planning, design  of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
• Meet with decision makers, system owners, and end users to define business requirements and system goals, and identify and resolve business system issues.
• Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house and 3^rd party computing systems.
• Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
• Assist in the deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
• Create system models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmers.
• Coordinate and conduct in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.
• Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.
• Ongoing system support to business
• Handling of financial reconciliations and enquiries
• Root cause analysis and reporting
• Plan, test, and implement system upgrades or patches, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

• College diploma or university degree in computer science, information science, management information systems, accounting or business administration
• At least 7 years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience with ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central (BC).
• Strong understanding of ERP workflows, integration, and customization
• Proven experience in overseeing the design, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products
• Strong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
• In-depth knowledge of core ERP applications and basic accounting principles
• Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong listening and interpersonal skills
• Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment
