Job Title: Remote 2D CAD/Revit Operator – South Africa (UK-Based Company)

Company Overview:
Hire Resolve's client is a UK-based company looking for a skilled 2D CAD/Revit Operator to join their growing team remotely from South Africa. As they expand their BIM projects, this role will primarily focus on Revit, supporting MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) coordination.

Job Description:
You will be responsible for preparing and updating 2D drawings in Revit and AutoCAD, including adding dimensions, tags, and making changes based on client feedback. This role will start with Revit and AutoCAD Fabrication but will evolve into a full Revit Technician role as you gain experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Revit and AutoCAD Tasks:

  • Set up and dimension Revit drawing sheets.
  • Update drawings based on client and project feedback.
  • Coordinate and model MEP services in Revit, including risers, corridors, and plant rooms.
  • Create and update Revit families as needed.

• Project Coordination:

  • Work directly with Project Managers and Engineers to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Communicate with Clients, Architects, and Contractors to maintain smooth project progress.

• BIM and MEP Coordination:

  • Assist with multi-service, 2D drawing coordination and Revit-based tasks.
  • Help ensure all drawings and models are accurate and meet client needs.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience:

  • 1-2 years of full-time experience using Revit for MEP projects.
  • At least 3 years of experience using AutoCAD.
  • 2+ years of experience in building services or a similar multi-discipline role.

• Technical Skills:

  • Good knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD (3D Fabrication experience is a plus).
  • Experience creating Revit families and preparing 2D drawings.

Desirable Attributes:

• Eagerness to learn and grow in BIM and Revit.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Experience with Navisworks is a plus.
• Good communication skills to work with remote teams and clients.

Location:
Remote position based in South Africa.
