Our client is a leading HR consultancy with a strong footprint across Africa, specializing in end-to-end HR solutions that include Remuneration, Benefits, and advanced Analytics services
Focussed on empowering organizations by fostering stronger workplace cultures, efficient remuneration structures, and data-driven HR insights - they are seeking a Client Relationship and Sales Manager to drive new business development, enhance client relationships, and increase market penetration for their diverse service offerings.
Key Outputs Include:
Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary contact for key clients, ensuring consistent, high-quality communication and support.
Conduct regular client check-ins, satisfaction assessments, and address any emerging needs or risks.
Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell additional services, aiming for long-term client retention and growth.
Sales and Business Development: Collaborate with the Sales Director and Business Unit Heads to implement a cohesive sales strategy across various HR services.
Lead new business campaigns, including identifying decision-makers within target markets (e.g HR Directors), and managing the sales pipeline from lead generation to closure.
Drive client engagement through proposals, product demonstrations, and client meetings, with a goal of hitting monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Market Strategy and Targeting: Develop and execute tailored marketing and outreach strategies, targeting companies with 1,000+ employees or specific industry segments.
Regularly update and segment contact databases to ensure targeted communication based on client interests and needs.
Collaboration and Upskilling: Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions with the sales team, focusing on business development skills and HR industry trends.
Work closely with Business Unit Heads to align sales efforts with specific service offerings, ensuring that sales strategies are consistent with each unit's goals.
Reporting and Performance Tracking:Provide regular progress reports to the Sales Director on client engagement and sales activities.
Ensure accuracy and consistency in client reports, maintaining high standards for data quality and reliability.
Required Skills
- Sales Management: 10 years or more
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in client relationship management or sales, preferably within an HR consultancy or related industry.
Proven track record in business development, client retention, and sales performance.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build and sustain client relationships at all organizational levels.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and the ability to work independently and within a team.
