Our client in the Engineering Manufacturing industry is seeking a Electronic Technician to join them in Randburg, Gauteng. The individual must be able to do electronic related work and setup of testing equipment / testing jigs etc to relieve the dependence on the current Electronic Engineering team. The successful incumbent will take responsibility for all testing related requirements for production as well as be trained for future use to maintain and oversee the equipment and machinery used in production. S/he will also be required to assist with Type Testing procedures and tests for products before they go into serial production.

Geographical area: Randburg, Gauteng

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

Do electronic related work
Setup of testing equipment / testing jigs etc to relieve the dependence on the current Electronic Engineering team.
Take responsibility for all testing related requirements for production
Be trained for future use to maintain and oversee the equipment and machinery used in production.

Minimum qualifications and experience:

Diploma or National Diploma in Electronic Engineering
1 year working experience
Do testing related to Electronic systems
Understanding and proficiency in development of test jigs
