Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Forklift Technician to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg East. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel-powered machinery, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for ensuring equipment operates at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel forklifts and related equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement solutions.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Adhere to safety standards and company policies at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on-site.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Forklift Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license (code B or equivalent).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
