To maintain our reputation for excellence, we are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Technician to join our dynamic team and ensure the comfort of our tenants and clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems for residential and commercial properties. They will perform routine maintenance checks, diagnose issues, and recommend solutions to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems, contributing to tenant satisfaction and energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain and repair conditioning systems, including split systems, HVAC units, and central air systems.
Conduct regular inspections and perform routine and preventative maintenance checks on existing HVAC systems to ensure systems operate efficiently and comply with safety regulations
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in air conditioning systems
Replace defective components and ensure timely repairs in order to minimize downtime
Educate customers on proper use and maintenance of their HVAC systems
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed
Collaborate with the Property Management team to address urgent repairs and tenant concerns promptly and cost effectively
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technologies and best practices in HVAC systems

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
HVAC certification or relevant technical qualification in HVAC systems.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience as an Air Conditioning Technician
Strong knowledge and understanding of air conditioning systems, refridgeration cycles and electrical components
Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong communication skills in English
Valid driver's license with reliable motor vehicle and willingness to travel between properties as needed.
