Job Title: Port Logistics Coordinator - Mining - Kwazulu-Natal

Location: Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa

Position Type: Full-time, Permanent

Job Summary:
Hire Resolve's Leading Client are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Port Logistics Coordinator to oversee the transportation and shipment of mining materials from their mining site to the port in Kwazulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics coordination within the mining industry and a strong understanding of port operations.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the scheduling and transportation of mining materials from the mining site to the port
- Liaise with trucking companies, shipping agents, port authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient transportation
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure they reach the port in a timely manner
- Maintain and update transportation schedules and shipping documentation
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during transportation and handling of materials
- Resolve any transportation or shipment issues that may arise
- Communicate and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding transportation logistics

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably within the mining industry
- Strong understanding of transportation and port operations
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to transportation
