Pumpkin Patch Foods is a fast growing food manufacturing company based in Stellenbosch. We are currently looking for an experienced accountant / finance professional to join our team.

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Full bookkeeping and accounting function up to trial balance, including debtors, creditors, bank, petty cash, journals, etc. 
• Performing bank reconciliations
• Monthly journal entries
• VAT calculations and VAT201 submissions
• VAT reconciliations
• Assistance with income tax and provisional tax submissions
• Responsible for calculating VAT and other SARS submissions
• Maintenance of SARS accounts
• IRP5 calculations, reconciliations, and submissions
• PAYE/UIF/SDL calculations and EMP201 submissions
• Liaison with customers on financial matters
• Administrative duties
• Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs
• Prepare tax documents
• Compile, analyse and report on financial findings
• Manage the company for sustainable profitability
• Manage budgeting and forecasting
• Monitor and manage product pricing
