We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer/Technologist to join our client’s team in Cape Town. As a Civil Engineer/Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and management of water and wastewater treatment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead or participate in various stages of civil engineering projects, including:
• Project inception and feasibility studies
• Preliminary and detailed engineering design
• Contract document preparation
• Contract administration
• Construction monitoring and quality assurance
• Assist clients with project development and alternative solutions.
• Maintain ISO 9001 quality assurance standards.
• Perform complex civil engineering designs, including water and wastewater treatment systems.
• Review and provide technical support for project designs.
• Prepare cost estimates and manage project finances.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or B-Tech degree in Civil Engineering (required)
• 8-10 years of experience in municipal engineering projects, with a focus on water and wastewater treatment
• Experience in project management, contractual administration, and design
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in civil engineering design software ( Civil Designer advantageous)
• Registration with ECSA (advantageous)
