driven Management Accountant

permanently

supporting the financial strategy and operations within our production environment.

Duties:

Monitor and analyze production costs, identify variances, and collaborate with the production team on cost-saving initiatives.
Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and variance analysis for decision-making.
Assist with the budgeting process and provide financial forecasts to align with production goals and business targets.
Oversee inventory costs, ensure accurate stock valuations, and minimize wastage and overstocking.
Provide financial insights to support production teams and senior management in planning and strategy.
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for production and manufacturing, measuring financial performance against targets.
Identify areas for process improvement and collaborate with teams to streamline operations and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and regulatory reporting standards.

Qualifications & skills:

CIMA (or currently working towards Strategic Level).
At least 3 years of experience in a management accounting role within a production or manufacturing environment.
