A company with an established reputation for innovation and excellence, specializing in manufacturing products that support a wide range of industries, is looking for a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled CA(SA) with extensive experience in financial management, IT, HR, and manufacturing operations to play a key role in driving the company’s growth and operational excellence.

Duties:

Lead financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting; oversee accounting, tax, and compliance.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support decision-making, expansion, and cost optimization.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including statements, forecasts, and budgets, while maintaining compliance with regulations.
Oversee IT systems and integrate financial software and ERP tools to improve operational efficiency and reporting.
Collaborate with HR to manage talent, payroll, compensation, and policies aligned with company goals.
Work with manufacturing teams to manage costs, optimize production, and lead financial planning for factory expansions and cost-saving initiatives.
Develop and manage risk frameworks to ensure compliance with financial and regulatory standards.
Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring effective collaboration with other departments and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & skills:

Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with a valid certification.
Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in senior financial roles.
Strong background in Full financial management
Experience managing IT systems in a manufacturing or engineering context.
