Our client is seeking an experienced Azure PaaS Engineer to build, maintain, and optimise their Azure Cloud platform. This role is ideal for a passionate individual with expertise in platform engineering, cost optimisation, and secure infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain a secure and scalable Azure PaaS platform.
Automate operational tasks using ARM, Terraform, and Ansible.
Implement logging and monitoring with Datadog, managing SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs.
Handle incidents, restore services, and perform root cause analyses.
Optimise platform costs and scalability through effective FinOps strategies.
Deploy and manage Azure Container Apps and build CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to resolve performance issues and improve architecture.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps, or SRE.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and CI pipelines.
Proficiency with ARM, Terraform, Ansible, and bash scripting.
Strong understanding of FinOps and scalable cloud solutions.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Azure Container Apps and Datadog setup.
Hands-on expertise in Terraform and Ansible.
Degree in computer science or related field (advantageous).
