A fantastic opportunity exists for a skilled Design Engineer specializing in Municipal Infrastructure to join a leading consulting team in Durban

Core Purpose:

The role involves producing technical deliverables for large-scale, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects, focusing on civil infrastructure design using Civil Designer and/or Civil 3D.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Design and document municipal services (water, sewer, roads, and stormwater).

·        Work independently on technical project deliverables for greenfield and brownfield projects.

·        Prepare reports, presentations, and tender documentation, including specifications, bills of quantities, and drawings.

·        Utilize industry standards (GCC2015, SABS1200, COLTO) in project execution.

·        Engage in site supervision and construction monitoring.

·        Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and stay updated on technical best practices.

Minimum Requirements:

·        Qualifications: Bachelor’s or BTech degree in Civil Engineering.

·        Professional Registration: ECSA registration as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech.

·        Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in Municipal Infrastructure Design.

·        Technical Skills: Proficiency in Civil Designer, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.
